We’re making an almanack and I have to find a better name for it
Adam wants to make a thing for you.
We announced on the most recent episode that we have a Patreon campaign with only one level: $1 per month. Anyone who’s a patron in December will receive a small holiday gift from us: a zine collecting our favorite bits from our notebooks from the last 12 months plus whatever other debris we think will fit between the covers. This is something I’ve been wanting to make for a few years and it seems like a good way to get it to people.
I’ve been calling this zine an almanack, which is clearly the wrong word. I have to find a better name for it — or maybe it will get a little almanacky in the process. I’m really setting the wrong expectation with the image on this blog post.
Ted and I have discussed our love for subscribing to things on a previous episode — but we’ve also discussed being oversubscribed. That could mean too much to read or too much to pay. We understand one more subscription may not work for everyone. It’s important to us that we don’t dirty this up too much with money. So: There will be no bonus episodes for patrons, no video link, no discord, no t-shirts or fanny packs, and no problem if you're wary of automatically renewing subscriptions. We’re just going to send out an easy read around the holidays.
We appreciate all the feedback on the show. Thanks!
